Civics and Chai: WiseUp and Ally

Please join WiseUp Texas for its first Civics and Chai webinar on July 15th at 7 pm CST. We will speak with a panel of South Asian community leaders across the U.S. about what it means to be a good ally and how our communities can understand this unique moment in history. We will highlight responses from the SA community that have been successful at building a movement and starting a much-needed dialogue within our communities.

Shaya Kara (Coro Northern California) will be moderating the event and she will be joined by Amina Ishaq (An-Nisa Hope Center), Maryam Ali (South Asians for Black Lives Matter), and Mahnoor Hussain (South Asian Americans Leading Together).
